Cigna PPO vs. Cigna DHMO
Cigna offers two main kinds of dental plans:
- Cigna Dental PPO: you choose your dentist, in or out of network, and Cigna pays a share of the cost. These are the plans we work with.
- Cigna Dental Care (DHMO): you're assigned to a specific dental office. If you have a DHMO plan, call us and we'll tell you your options.

What Cigna PPO plans typically cover
- Preventive care such as exams, cleanings and X-rays, often at or near 100%
- Basic care such as fillings at a percentage after your deductible
