How Delta Dental PPO usually works
- Preventive care such as exams, cleanings and X-rays is often covered at the highest level, frequently twice a year.
- Basic care such as fillings is usually covered at a percentage after your deductible.
- Major care such as crowns, bridges and dentures is usually covered at a lower percentage, up to your annual maximum.
Every employer plan is different. We check your exact plan, remaining annual maximum and deductible before treatment. If you have DeltaCare USA (an HMO plan) or another Delta product, call us and we'll confirm whether we can see you under that plan.
Use your benefits before they reset
Most plans reset on January 1. Unused cleanings and annual maximums do not roll over, so scheduling before the end of the year helps you get the full value of your coverage.
