How MetLife dental plans work
MetLife's dental PPO network is called the Preferred Dentist Program (PDP). Like most PPO plans, MetLife plans typically cover:
- Preventive care (exams, cleanings, X-rays), often at or near 100%
- Basic care (fillings, simple extractions) at a percentage after your deductible
- Major care (crowns, bridges, implants, dentures) at a lower percentage, up to your annual maximum
Coverage levels, waiting periods and maximums depend on your employer's plan. We check yours before treatment.
